Albany - Monteith

Tama Tochihara and I have been hired by the City of Albany to prepare a draft nomination expanding the Monteith Historic District. Below you can view a map of the existing Monteith Historic District, with overlays showing the proposed Monteith district expansion area as well as the original Monteith's Southern Addition plat. The map is interactive, but please note, we are in the process of updating the data (in particular the dates of some of the houses), based upon additional research we have completed.

Download* the survey data for Google Earth**

*To download the data, right-click the link and choose Save Link As...
**In order to view the Google Earth data, you'll need to download and install Google Earth.
*Please note that if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser you need to select "save target as", and then watch out for a little bug. It will try to change the extension of your file to ".xml". If it does this, just change it to ".kml" and it should work just fine.
